Inglis School

Inglis School - We are a small K-8 school, with a population ranging between 60 - 70 students. In 2007, our school was awarded the distinction of being one of Canada's top 25 schools in the category of "One of a Kind". Our school was described as being diverse, flexible, resourceful, and a place, where because of small numbers, students gain greater self-confidence.

Our students have opportunities that would not be available in a larger school. Such as a K-8 Christmas musical, K-8 Buddy Reading, spirit week events with multi-age student groups. The students in our school often go on to be active on high school sports teams and student council or other committees, because of their participation in our school. We have an annual K-2 musical production and Grade 7-8 drama production, our younger classes are involved in the Speech and Music festivals, and we have a K-8 music program. All students take swimming lessons in June.

Inglis School Recycling Committee won the Manitoba School Boards Association Student Citizenship (Group) Award.
